This is a Windows Server IIs issue.

I’m trying to set up a new server on a client’s network.

The old server runs just fine but will expire soon.

On the new server only, I encounter the following issues:

My first problem is the initial remote form that appears has no color.

The second problem is, as soon as I click a button on the remote form, I get a message “You have been disconnected. Refresh or restart application to reconnect.”

The old server is running the same library and works correctly.

I have tried to duplicate everything on the new server exactly the same as the old server but the new server refuses to work.

    Hi Ron,

make sure you follow the technical note: https://www.omnis.net/developers/resources/technotes/tnjs0003.jsp

To me it looks like there are some missing resources in the html root.

    Best,

    Andreas

It sounds like a session state or application pool issue in IIS. Have you checked if the application pool is set to the correct .NET version and that session state is configured the same way as on the old server?
