Euromnis 2025 – Session on Integrating Omnis with Apache Kafka
hi everybody;
Jose Lacerda, from Prozis.tech in Portugal will be talking about how to use Apache Kafka as a message broker between Omnis and other systems.
Why is this interesting? A reliable message broker is a really convenient way to get messages between systems. If you can do that, you can cause things to happen automatically in a different system. Basically, the notion is that one system does something that another system(s) would like to know about. A simple example may be that Omnis mass merges & makes some emails, and tells Kafka, which relays the message to some other common system which is designed to send those emails.
Jose will talk about what Kafka means to their team and how to use it. By the way; Kafka is used by thousands of organizations and 80% of the top 100 companies around the world. It is one of the top 5 apache open source projects.
