Error in PDF Printing with Web Client?
Dear $Omnis,
I found that when I use Do $cinst.$clientcommand(“showpdf”,row(<b style=”background-color: var(–bb-content-background-color); font-family: inherit; font-size: inherit; color: var(–bb-body-text-color);”>lID)) to open a separate tab with a the PDF to be printed, the PDF looks fine in the browser tab, but when I click on the print icon on the top right, the print output gets scrambled in the print preview window, and will be printed scrambled.
This applies only to Chrome (current version) – Safari and Firefox work ok. Outputting to (PDF) file works fine, too, but to printer drivers.
I use Omnis 11.36251. While I found this error in my own app, I could reproduce it by just doing a test library that uses the monitor remote task sample and its ‘Print report’ button on the server usage tab.

I can reproduce the problem in revision 36251, but it seems to be fixed in Omnis Studio 11.1 37255.

As I am no longer on paid maintenance scheme, will there be a free bug fix release, or will I have to live with this bug?

I do not think there is a patch for this particular fault. The fix is part of Omnis Studio 11.1 37255.
