Omnis Studio 12 is continuously evolving through regular monthly releases. Each update delivers important maintenance improvements alongside new features and enhancements that help developers become more productive while keeping applications modern and future-ready.

JavaScript Components The $tabinto... properties have been added to the Complex Grid and Tile Grid components to allow you to tab directly into the fields or tiles within the grid, and then tab from one field or tile to the next.
OW3 Worker Objects The $fullcompname property has been added to the external objects notation group to return the full name or notational identifier of an external component within the $extobjects group, which could be used to set an object's $superclass or object variable subtype.
32-bit and 64-bit integers The conversion of 64-bit integer string literals to double at the range limit has been improved, ensuring they are now converted to the correct integer value. In addition, inconsistencies in both 32-bit and 64-bit integer ranges have been corrected, ensuring integer arithmetic correctly wraps around, and conversions are capped at their maximum or minimum values.
Licensing Error Messages A new “silenceErrors” item has been added to config.json to prevent licensing related OK message errors from being displayed during startup.
Headless Omnis Server The Headless Server will now catch most noguiexceptions errors and write them to the log, such as: NOGUIexception: command or notation is not available when running in a headless server.

Construct Row Variable - for remote forms and tasks the Construct row var now includes an 'href' column
OAUTH2 Worker Object - two new Html files have been added to handle success and error outcomes in OAUTH2 authentication, and there is a new item "autoCloseOAUTH2Window" in the “server” section of the Omnis configuration file which controls whether the authorize window closes automatically or not
Trace Log - there is a new configuration item to prevent every line stepped into or over in the debugger from being sent automatically to the Trace log
Method Editor - there is a new option 'Show Class in Studio Browser' under the View menu in the Method Editor that locates and selects the current class in the Studio Browser
JSON Control Editor - when creating a JSON-defined control, you can now specify external resources that are required by the control to be loaded by the JS client
sys(259) - returns true if Omnis Studio is running in multi-threaded mode
