The Challenge:
All businesses need to collect and store information that is created within their company, relying heavily on software systems to manage that information. In particular, Legal firms and other service based companies need to manage information regarding all the jobs performed for each customer, including information about time and project management, job costing, invoicing, and general customer management. These tasks can be handled using separate programs, but increasingly are managed using one complete software solution.
The Solution:
Italian developer TeamSystem created such a system called EasyLex which is a complete management solution for Law Firms.
EasyLex allows many standard functions including the tracking of all case activities and communications with clients, full case management with automatic interest conflict check, as well as workflow control and fast planning of standard procedures. Together with the important features required to manage a legal company, EasyLex has many other standard functions that increase the easy-of-use and efficiency within the system, including daily/weekly/monthly and Gantt group calendars, full document management for any kind of case documents, integration with outlook and mail for email acquisition inside the document management, mailmerge with MS Word and the integrated oWrite (a word-processing component for Omnis), invoicing and accounting functions, timesheet management, and even Skype dialling and SMS delivery. EasyLex complies with all the necessary standards including ISO 9001:2000 Quality Control for Non-Conformities tracking and processing, and includes marketing analysis and business graphics for looking at ways to increase turnover.
EasyLex has been developed in Omnis over a number of years, and is one of the market leaders in Italy with more than 8,000 users.
