Earlier this year we had started an app building challenge ‘Build to Win’ with the early pre-release of our upcoming new product Omnis noCode.
Thank you to everyone in the community who participated in this challenge! We received very different apps and reports which helped us to further enhance and complete the Omnis noCode product which will be launched soon. Judging Criteria in this challenge were: User Experience (30%), Design (25%), Functionality (25%) and Innovation (20%).
The first prize of 1000 € was awarded to Maximilian Heffels for his app “Concept CB”. This is
a game called “Codebreaker” which is similar to Mastermind. The mobile app is available in
English and in German.
“Since I have no programming experience, I created a logic with markers that only allows a limited number of outcomes, which means I have fewer possibilities to cover when checking and outputting what state ‘Clues’ has.
In case 103, for example, it does not matter at all where a correct number is or where the incorrect numbers are. Three incorrect numbers always result in 3, and one correct number always results in 100. This allowed me to avoid randomising the order of the clues and only required me to set the rule at the beginning that R comes first, then P, then W in the order of the clues”, explained Maximilian.
This smart and efficient approach, the multi language capabilities and the clear design were the criteria why we awarded the 1 st prize to Maximilian.
Ufuk Bakan won the third prize – a free subscription to Omnis noCode for 3 years – for his app “Habit Tracker”. What is a Habit Tracker?
A habit tracker is a simple yet effective tool designed to help you build and maintain positive habits over time. As it was designed with Omnis noCode, this app works on Mobiles and PCs.
“My Habit Tracker app allows you to monitor your progress by marking off completed routines and serves as a motivator to stay consistent with the goals you set. Over time, a habit tracker transforms daily routines into meaningful habits, contributing to long-term personal growth and well-being”, explained Ufuk.
Ufuk provided a short showcase video of his app:
For the great user experience, the added explanations for the users and the easy to use reports and statistics features of his app Ufuk was awarded the 3 rd prize of this challenge.
It is important to note that this challenge was based on a very early pre-release version of Omnis noCode with limited functionality. All participants in the challenge did a fantastic job in creating their first noCode app with this early pre-release and they helped us a lot in enhancing and improving our new product. A big Thank you to everyone who participated in our challenge!
We are now in the final testing stages of Omnis noCode and will launch our new
product soon.
